Planets Alive is the musical project of singer songwriter Will Van Wig, based out of the NW suburbs of Chicago.
Combining elements of Folk, Alternative Rock, Indie, and Pop, he has entertained crowds in Missouri, New York, California, Wyoming, Colorado, and Illinois in a wide variety of venues.
Armed with a simple acoustic guitar and soulful vocals, his modern songwriting explores themes surrounding exploration of the unknown - both internal and external. The challenges of staying grounded while wanting to expand horizons. Of possessing enough confidence to explore deep space while discovering new worlds that reshape realities.
